ABOUT US

Valley Aggregates L.L.C. was founded by our founder Donald R. Gavers back in 1968 under the name Gavers Sand and Gravel, which was changed in 2010.

In 1963, Don and Sally started a small Black Dirt/ Top Soil Business with a small single axle truck and a 1940’s Haiss Path-Digging Loader, which we still own to this day.

Today, we can deliver anywhere from as small as 1 yd. to as much as 1000 yds of soil. In 1968 we expanded into the Sand & Gravel Business, since Don grew up as a young man who worked on the farm , one of the jobs was to bale hay. He often noticed the hay never grew well on top of the hills, and there was a lot of stones, it was often said there’s nothing there but rocks. The rest is history, Don was right, there was something there. Today the companies are run by hi sons brothers Steve and Digger Gavers.
